Theodore Stilton is a likeable young mouse with great ambition and creativity. But he was different from a child age. His attention to detail and his studies meant that he couldn't make many friends, at least not permanently, but over time Theodore managed to get into Mouseford where his Aunt Thea was studying. There Theodore made many friends such as Rigsby, a sporty mouse who played football, and Joey, a car collector. Theodore became a wonderful cooker there. He won a cooking contest and he get a professors' honor. This trio of mouses had all kinds of adventures on the island. Theodore's grades began to drop as he didn't pay much attention, but that was salvaged. Although the grades of the three mice were mediocre, they successfully completed their studies.

When Theodore returned to New Mouse City after successfully completing his degree, things began to change for him. He was to work and apprentice for The Rodent's Gazette where his uncle Geronimo Stilton was. It was a great thrill and a new part of life for this young mouse. Theodore started living with his Uncle Trap who lived in a wagon. Theodore got along wonderfully with Trap. He was always telling him stories from Whale Island and sharing his cooking skills with him.At the same time he expanded his relationship with his relative Benjamin. They spend almost every weekend night together with playing games, eating pizza, and watching movies.

Theodore began to build his image as a journalist with a great sense of humor and attention to detail in every newspaper article.

He began to have all sorts of fun adventures with his family, sometimes even dangerous ones.
